How do I sign up?
Sign Up on the Home Page and Choose your Package. Our office will send you a log in.
You have options to view the Scout App:
1. Install the Scout App on your Compatible Smart TV: FireTV, LG, Roku, Samsung Tizen, Sony with Android Software, Hisense, or TCL
OR
2. Contact our office for a set top box. Your TV needs a WiFi connectivity and an HDMI input.
OR
3. Download the app from the Amazon or Google Play Stores.
Is internet required? What are the internet speed requirements?
Yes, an internet connection of at least 3 Mbps download speed per device is required. Scout works on most internet services. Check with your Internet Service Provider on how streaming affects your data usage. For information about Nelson Cable’s Internet Plans, Click Here
Am I locked into a long-term commitment?
No. Your service is month-to-month, with advance written disconnect notice. If you have a set top-box, you will need to return your set top box to our office to avoid an equipment charge. See Terms and Conditions for complete details.
How do I receive and pay my bill?
Billing is done monthly via email. Payments will be deducted from a US bank account in US currency. See Terms and Conditions for complete details.
Is the Scout App compatible with my Smart TV?
Compatible Smart TVs with an Android Operating System can access the Scout App via the Google Play Store. Also available on FireTV, some Roku,Sony Bravia, Samsung Tizen Smart TV’s, manufactured 2018 or newer
How much is the set top box lease?
The monthly set top box lease is $6.49 for each set top box. You will need a set top box for each TV that is not compatible with the Scout App.
What if I want to add my devices?
Have up to 5 Compatible devices simultaneously at no additional charge!
What is the list of Compatible devices?
Compatible devices include Amazon Firestick/ FireCube/ FireTV, Apple TV, some Roku Devices, Sony Bravia, Samsung Tizen Smart TV, Smart TV with Android Operating System, Compatible Android Devices. Compatible Devices must be manufactured 2018 or newer
